Animarii: Unzipped

Each canvas is a portal — a moment caught between worlds, where the surface of reality peeling back at a genuine metal zipper reveals the cosmic field that was always underneath. The animal spirit guides of Animarii Unzipped are not decorative. They are chosen. Each one carries a specific frequency, a distinct way of moving through existence — and each one has something to teach about how to do the same.

Built in layers of spray paint, acrylic inks, acrylic, and mixed media, finished in a dominant layer of oil, these are paintings with physical presence and depth. Metal foil catches the light. Genuine materials are embedded in the surface. The zippers are real — genuine metal, set permanently into the canvas, frozen at the moment of reveal. The worlds they open are realer still.
