Our Commitment
Every piece sold through Rebecca Papillon is created with care and shipped with your satisfaction in mind. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.
All Sales — Original Artworks & Fine Art Prints
All sales of original artworks and fine art prints are final. We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges.
This does not affect any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country. If your item arrives genuinely faulty or significantly not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to find a fair resolution.
Postcard Subscriptions
Subscription payments are non-refundable once a billing cycle has been processed. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges — cancellation instructions are available in your account portal.
Individual postcard prints within a subscription are not eligible for return or exchange.
Shipping Damage & Lost Parcels
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item arrives damaged in transit or your parcel is lost, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date with:
∙ Your order number
∙ Photographs of the damage and packaging (for damage claims)
We will file a claim with the carrier and work to resolve the issue for you. Outcomes may include a replacement print (subject to availability) or store credit, at our discretion.
Print & Merchandise Quality Issues
If you receive a print or merchandise item with a production quality defect (e.g. significant color banding, misalignment, or print errors), contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order number and clear photographs of the issue.
We assess each case individually and may offer a replacement or store credit where a genuine quality defect is confirmed. This does not apply to minor variations inherent to fine art printing or differences in color appearance due to screen calibration.
Third-party fulfilled products: Products fulfilled by third-party printing suppliers are subject to the returns and quality terms of that supplier. We will act as your point of contact and liaise with the supplier on your behalf; however, resolution timelines and outcomes may differ from those applicable to products fulfilled directly by Rebecca Papillon.
Commission Deposits
Commission deposits are non-refundable if the commission is canceled by the client after work has commenced or after the deposit has been accepted. Full terms are outlined in the Commission Agreement issued prior to work commencing — please read this carefully before consenting.
If we are unable to fulfill a commissioned work, your deposit will be refunded in full.
European Union — 14-Day Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without providing any reason.
To exercise this right, you must notify us before the 14-day period expires. You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We will process your refund within 14 days of receiving your cancellation notice.
Exceptions — the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
∙ Goods made to order or clearly personalized (this includes commissioned artworks)
∙ Sealed audio, video or computer software that has been unsealed after delivery
∙ Online digital content that you have started downloading or streaming after expressly agreeing to waive the right of withdrawal
For subscription cancellations, you may cancel at any time via your account portal.
United Kingdom — 14-Day Cancellation Right
If you are a consumer located in the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, beginning from the date you take ownership of the goods.
To exercise this right, notify us at within 14 days. You are responsible for return shipping costs. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.
The same exceptions apply as listed under the EU section above, including commissioned and personalized works.
California Consumer Protection
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under applicable California or federal consumer protection law. Where a statutory guarantee applies, your remedy will be consistent with the nature and severity of the failure.
International Customers — General
Regardless of your location, your statutory consumer rights under the laws of your country are not affected by this policy. If you are unsure of your rights, we encourage you to seek local guidance.
